FBI Illegally Pirated Kim Dotcom’s Data Out of New Zealand, File-Sharing King Charges

Kim Dotcom, the founder of the indicted file-sharing service Megaupload, charges that the FBI copied the data from his seized hard drives and sent it back to the United States, despite a New Zealand court order to keep evidence in New Zealand. But the New Zealand government says the order doesn't apply to the data, just the things.
