Developer Quits OAuth 2.0 Spec, Calls It ‘a Bad Protocol’

OAuth makes life easier for users by eliminating the need to hand over your username and password to third-party apps, but OAuth 2.0 has become so complex for developers that even its lead author no longer wants anything to do with it.
