Hubble Discovers New Moon Around Pluto

Astronomers have detected a new, fifth moon orbiting the dwarf planet Pluto, in images taken with the Hubble Space Telescope. The irregularly shaped moon is between 6 and 16 miles across. It circles Pluto in a 60,000-mile-diameter orbit, roughly a quarter of the distance at which our moon orbits Earth.
