Taxidermists, Artists Bring Aging Museum Animals Back to Lifelike

The North American mammals at the American Museum of Natural History are coming back to (near) life. Artists, taxidermists, conservators and designers have been working for a year on everything from re-coloring faded bear fur and restoring paintings of the Grand Canyon to dusting leaves and installing new energy-efficient and less-damaging lighting.
